Association of Departments of Computer/Information Sciences and Engineering at Minority Institutions (ADMI)

The Association of Departments of Computer/Information Sciences and Engineering at Minority Institutions was founded in August 1989. It was established as a national organization dedicated to exploring and providing remedies to the educational issues in computer/information science and computer engineering that confront minority institutions of higher education.

With a world-wide membership of 80,000, ACM functions as a locus for computing professionals and students working in the various fields of Information Technology.

Computing Research Association (CRA)

The Computing Research Association is an association of more than 180 North American academic departments of computer science and computer engineering, industrial & government laboratories engaging in basic computing & affiliated professional societies. CRA seeks to strengthen research & education in the computing fields, expand opportunities for women & minorities and improve public
& policy maker understanding of the importance of computing research.

CRA Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research (CRA-W)

The Committee on the Status of Women in Computing Research takes positive action to increase the number of women participating in Computer Science & Engineering research & education at all levels. CRA-W also seeks to increase the degree of success women experience & provide a forum for addressing problems that frequently fall disproportionately within women’s domain.
