Academic Workshop for Underrepresented Assistant & Associate Professors, and Senior Doctoral Students

The academic workshops, held thus far in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2009, provide unique, tailored experiences for underrepresented junior faculty, including discussions and panels on requirements for tenure and grant proposal writing, and a special Leadership Panel that features nationally prominent minority leaders who share their experiences. The 2009 workshop was held in conjunction with the Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing Conference.
